Stanley, a Me­tho­dist min­is­ter, was the son of Al­fred W. Ack­ley and Mar­ga­ret La­cey, hus­band of Ophe­lia A. Cogs­well, and fa­ther of Al­fred Ack­ley and Bent­ley Ack­ley.
