Adebesin at­tend­ed Cam­bridge Uni­ver­si­ty, and was an As­so­ci­ate of the Roy­al Col­lege of Mu­sic.

He worked as a teach­er, ci­vil ser­vant, bank­er, and mem­ber of Ni­ger­ia’s dip­lo­mat­ic ser­vice.
