Biography

Elsie was the daugh­ter of Ed­ward Ahl­wen and Sig­na Ol­son, and wife of bu­si­ness­man Da­ni­el Ar­thur Sun­deen, Sr.

After emi­grat­ing to Am­eri­ca, she stu­died at the Moo­dy Bi­ble In­sti­tute in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, and be­came an evan­gel­ist in the Swed­ish com­mu­ni­ty in Chi­ca­go and, lat­er, across Am­eri­ca.

She con­tin­ued her min­is­try af­ter mar­riage, even­tu­al­ly re­tir­ing in Man­che­ster, New Hamp­shire.
