Biography

The Wor­ces­ter Dai­ly Spy (Wor­ces­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts: Oc­to­ber 16, 1863), des­cribes Al­len as a Teach­er of the Or­gan. Pi­ano For­te. Vo­cal mu­sic, and mu­sic­al com­po­si­tion.

Worcester is 35 miles south­west of Low­ell, Mas­sa­chu­setts, birth­place of Will­iam Hunt­ington. Al­len com­posed the mu­sic for Hunt­ing­ton’s 1867 song Cheer­ily, Cheer­ily, Sing We All.
