Amy was the daugh­ter of Lieu­ten­ant Co­lo­nel George Mar­ry­at and Geor­gi­ana Char­lotte Sel­wyn, and wife of Sir Tal­bot Hast­ings Ben­dall Bak­er (mar­ried De­cem­ber 30, 1875).
