Biography

Lizzie was the daugh­ter of Cor­ne­li­us George Fen­ner and Eli­za­beth M. Pierce, and wife of Fran­cis M. Bak­er (mar­ried July 8, 1872, New York).

During the Am­eri­can ci­vil war, her hus­band was a lieu­ten­ant co­lo­nel in the 15th Cav­alry, An­derson Troop Vol­un­teers.

He lat­er served as pas­tor of the Dau­phin Pres­by­ter­ian Church (1885–99).
