Biography

David was the hus­band of Neat­tie Ad­ams.

A na­tive of Ir­on Ci­ty, Geor­gia, he es­tab­lished sing­ing schools in the years after the Am­eri­can ci­vil war. He was ac­tive in the Pri­mi­tive Bap­tist Church in north­east and south­west Georg­ia, start­ing in the late 1880s.
