Biography

Ebenezer was the son of John Sher­ren Brewer and Eli­sa­beth Kit­ton, and hus­band of El­len Mary Teb­butt (mar­ried 1856, Par­is, France).

He was edu­cat­ed at Tri­ni­ty Hall, Cam­bridge (Scho­lar 1834, LLB 1839, LLD 1844).

He was or­dained a dea­con at Ely, 1836, and priest at Nor­wich, 1838.
