Thy walls shall be Salvation,
Thy portals shall be Praise,
Th’elect from every nation
Their songs in thee shall raise.
All they that once reproved thee
Beneath thee shall bow down,
The Lord thy God that loved thee
Thy brows with joy shall crown.
Jehovah thy Redeemer
For brass shall bring thee gold,
And Peace shall be thy dwelling,
And mercy thy stronghold.
No sun shall be thy brightness,
No moon on thee shall shine,
Jehovah is thy glory,
The Lord thy God is thine.
Thy mourning days are over,
By thy Redeemer’s throne;
That Glory fadeth never,
The Sun doth ne’er go down.
