Biography

Browning was a min­is­ter. In ad­di­tion to writ­ing lyr­ics, he com­posed tunes for at least two of his songs.

Based on time­frame and lo­ca­tion, it seems like­ly he is Ray­mond Brown­ing (1879–1953), who was born in Giles Coun­ty, Ten­nes­see, near Law­rence­burg, where The Home-Coming Week was pub­lished in 1928.
