Died: Jan­ua­ry 22, 1918, Jew­ett Ci­ty, Con­nec­ti­cut, of in­flu­en­za.

Buried: Vi­ro­qua, Wis­con­sin.

Brown taught school in Nor­wich, Con­nec­ti­cut and, for 20 years, in Jew­ett Ci­ty, Con­nec­ti­cut, as well as teach­ing Sun­day School in the Bap­tist Church there.
