Died: April 28, 1831, Berlin, Germany (some sources say Breslau).
Bürde’s father was keeper of St. Barbara’s Church in Breslau.
After studying law at the University of Halle, Samuel was tutor and superintendent of a charity school at Breslau (1776–78).
He then became private secretary to the Cabinet minister von Haugwitz, worked two years in the Forestry Department, and after being secretary to the Finance Department at Breslau, became a member of the Aulic Council and Director of Chancery at Berlin.
