Biography

Joseph was the hus­band of Hel­en Fran­ces Sut­ton (mar­ried 1889, Hor­nells­ville, New York).

A jour­nal­ist and tem­per­ance cru­sad­er, he ed­it­ed God’s Bless­ings (Dans­ville, New York: A. M. Hall, 1890), and found­ed the Dans­ville Breeze.

He and Hel­en ev­en­tu­al­ly set­tled in San Die­go, Ca­li­for­nia.
