Biography

A min­is­ter in the Pitts­burgh Con­fer­ence of the Af­ri­can Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Church, Will­iam was the son of Is­ra­el and Ca­ther­ine Butler.

He mar­ried twice, to Ro­sa Le­na Will­iams and Evan­gel­ine Ro­ber­ta Brown.
