Biography

Arnoldo was the grand­son of writ­er and preach­er John C. Va­ret­to.

He was bap­tized at a lo­cal Bap­tist church at age 15. He earned his PhD de­gree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Bue­nos Air­es in 1951, and was an evan­gel­ical Bap­tist min­is­ter for sev­er­al de­cades.
