Born: March 22, 1854, Rock­land, De­la­ware.

Died: No­vem­ber 15, 1927, at his home in Mill­bourne, Penn­syl­van­ia, of com­pli­ca­tions from a fall two weeks ear­li­er.

Buried: Mount Mo­ri­ah Ce­me­te­ry, Penn­syl­van­ia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

Biography

James was the son of Ir­ish im­mi­grants James Dailey and Eli­za Jane Mor­ri­son (mar­ried in Lon­don­der­ry). His fa­ther died in 1858.

For many years, James was a tra­vel­ing ev­an­gel­ist in wes­tern Penn­syl­van­ia for a num­ber of years. In 1872, he moved with his mo­ther to Brock­way­ville, Penn­syl­van­ia, and was still there as of 1892.

In 1900 he was in Fre­do­nia Vil­lage, New York, and in Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia, in 1910 & 1920.
