Biography

Kornelius was the son of or­gan­ist Ge­org Hein­rich Dretz­el.

He be­came or­gan­ist at the Nur­em­berg Frau­en­kirche (1712), St. Ägy­dien (1719), St. Lor­enz (1743), and St. Se­bald’s (1764), where he stayed the rest of his life.
