Biography

Emil was the hus­band of Hul­da Ca­rol­ine Lind­gren (mar­ried 1892, Min­ne­ap­olis, Min­ne­so­ta).

He was edu­cat­ed at Au­gus­tana Col­lege, and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Min­ne­so­ta me­di­cal school. He be­came a phy­si­cian, prac­ticed me­di­cine for 48 years, and held a pa­tent for a sur­gi­cal in­stru­ment case.
