Biography

Granville was the son of Will­iam Nel­son Ev­ans and Ma­ry Eli­za­beth Hurst, and hus­band of Nor­ves­ta Or­lean Blan­sett.

In ad­di­tion to writ­ing po­et­ry and songs, Ev­ans was al­so a pho­to­graph­er and drug­gist.

Copyright re­cords in­di­cate he and his sons were run­ning G. P. Ev­ans and Sons Mu­sic Com­pa­ny in Tam­pa, Flo­ri­da, as of 1924.
