Biography

Benjamin was the son of Na­than Ev­er­ett and Mary Do­ty, husb­and of Ca­ther­ine La­ri­more, and bro­ther of Brooks & Le­on­ard Ev­er­ett.

He stu­died mu­sic in Bos­ton, Mas­sa­chu­setts. He helped his bro­ther Asa com­pile The Scep­tre in 1871.
