Biography

Eda was the daugh­ter of Mi­chael Form­hals and Ca­ro­line Tum­mel.

She gra­du­at­ed from Ot­tawa Town­ship High School in 1878, in a class con­sist­ing of eight girls.

In 1880, she was teach­ing school in North­ville, Il­li­nois.

She was liv­ing in La­Salle Coun­ty, Il­li­nois, in 1910, 1920 and 1930.

When she died, she was the last sur­viv­ing memb­er of her high school class.
