Introduction

Biography

Leandro was the son of Pab­lo de la Gar­za and Ma­ria Jo­se­fa De La Luz Mo­ra Gar­za. His fa­ther died when he was five years old. Le­an­dro mar­ried three times: to , Car­men O. Gar­za, Leo­nor Mar­ro­quin, and Cár­men Le­al.

He came to Christ around age 20, un­der the in­flu­ence of Dr. An­ton­io To­mas Gray­bill. At the time, he was work­ing as a bar­ten­der in Ma­ta­mo­ros, Me­xi­co.

He ev­en­tu­al­ly start­ed theo­lo­gic­al stu­dies and served as a Pres­by­ter­ian min­is­ter for se­ven de­cades.
