Greenhaw’s Loved Ones Gone was pub­lished in Hud­son, North Ca­ro­li­na, in 1922.

We spe­cu­late he may be Ben­ja­min F. Green­haw (1900–1961). Though Ben­ja­min’s birth date seems a lit­tle late for wri­ting Gos­pel songs in 1919, Ben­ja­min did have a bro­ther, Will­iam Al­ex­an­der Green­haw Jr. (1897–1973) who might be the W. A. Green­haw whose works ap­peared in the same song book.
