Daughter of Gen­er­al Tho­mas Green­a­way, Ma­dras Staff Corps, Ada was tak­en to Eng­land as a child, and lived at Guild­ford. She wrote vers­es for Mow­bray & Com­pa­ny’s Christ­mas and Eas­ter cards, and con­trib­ut­ed 11 hymns to Child­ren’s Sup­ple­ment, by E. Hand­ley, 1897. Her works in­clude:
