Biography

Hunt ma­tri­cu­lat­ed at the Uni­ver­si­ty of St. An­drews in 1847.

He was or­dained an Ang­li­can dea­con in 1855, and priest in 1857.

Hunt served as cur­ate of Dept­ford, Sun­derland (1855–59), and of church­es in and around Lon­don.

In 1877, be­ing no­mi­nat­ed by Dean Stan­ley, he be­came vi­car of Ot­ford, Kent.
