Biography

Nora was the daugh­ter of Ro­bert Clark Siens and As­tor­ia Brooks Meek­er, and wife of Cla­rence Ed­gar Hunt­er (mar­ried No­vem­ber 3, 1896).

She spent her child­hood in Kan­sas with va­ri­ous rel­a­tives and in an or­phan­age.

She found­ed the Wo­man’s Home and For­eign Mis­sion­ary So­cie­ty (lat­er re­named the Wo­men of the Church of God), and served as its pre­si­dent, 1932–48.
