Henry was the son of Henry Lascelles Jenner and Mary Isabel Finlaison, and husband of Katharine Lee Rawlings (married 1877).
In the secular world, he is primarily known as a Cornish language scholar. He worked at the British Museum almost 40 years before retiring to Hayle.
