Biography

Julian was the son of Ly­man Jor­dan and Su­san Beck­with. He mar­ried twice, to Ade­lia So­phia Swift and An­na Ross.

A com­pos­er, vo­cal in­struc­tor and sing­er, he worked with pub­lish­er Wil­lis Wood­ward & Com­pa­ny, at 84 South Broad­way in New York Ci­ty’s Tin Pan Al­ley.

His most po­pu­lar work was The Song That Reached My Heart.
