Oscar was the son of Jo­hann Hein­rich Kais­er and Ma­ria Jo­han­na Hen­ri­et­ta Funk, and hus­band of Emi­ly Fred­er­icke West­er­mann (mar­ried May 27, 1891, St. Lou­is, Mis­sou­ri.
