Biography

Lyon was a cho­ris­ter at the Great Sy­na­gogue, Duke’s Place, Lon­don, and a pub­lic sing­er ei­ther at Dru­ry Lane or Co­vent Gar­den.

He later be­came the first qua­li­fied cha­zan of the Eng­lish and Ger­man Sy­na­gogue in Ja­ma­ica.
