Biography

Masden was a min­is­ter. His song The Open Door was pub­lished in Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia, in 1876.

We spe­cu­late he may have been Charles P. Mas­den (1843–1930), who was born in Wilm­ing­ton, De­la­ware, about 20 miles from Phi­la­del­phia.
