Biography

Mason was the son of Hen­ry Ma­son and Hel­en Au­gus­ta Pal­ma, grand­son of Low­ell Ma­son, and hus­band of Es­telle Hart Kim­ball.

He was pre­si­dent of the Ma­son and Ham­lin Pi­ano Com­pa­ny in Bos­ton un­til re­tir­ing in 1924.

He wrote a num­ber of books and ar­ti­cles on mu­sic­al top­ics, in­clud­ing:
