Her song Hark, Hark! The Sweet, Sweet Chim­ing ap­peared in an 1865 song book pub­lished by Ma­son Bro­thers in New York Ci­ty, and by Ma­son & Haml­in in Bos­ton, Mas­sa­chu­setts, so per­haps she was re­lat­ed to one of the pub­lish­ers.
