Biography

Milgrove was pre­cen­tor and/or or­gan­ist of the Count­ess of Hunt­ing­don’s church in Bath, around the time his Six­teen Hymns were pub­lis­hed, about 1769.

According to the Bath di­rect­or­ies at the time, he was al­so a toy­man, or own­er of a fan­cy shop in Bond Street there.
