Biography

Alda was the daughter of min­is­ter Ed­ward Mil­ner-Barry.

She was a stu­dent—and sub­se­quent­ly hon­or­ary lec­tur­er—at St. Chris­to­pher’s Col­lege, Black­heath. She was also Lec­tur­er in Eng­lish at Birm­ing­ham Uni­ver­si­ty.
