Biography

Samuel was the son of S. F. Mor­gan, some­time rec­tor of All Saints, Birm­ing­ham.

He was edu­cated at Wad­ham Col­lege, Ox­ford (BA 1859, MA 1862, BD & DD 1881), and or­dained in 1860.

After hold­ing oth­er ap­point­ments, he be­came vic­ar of Eb­ring­ton, Glou­ces­ter, in 1895.
