Biography

Edward was the son of a Lon­don phy­si­cian.

He was edu­cat­ed at Ori­el Col­lege, Ox­ford (BA 1836).

Ordained in 1837, he be­came In­cum­bent of Har­row-Weald in 1842, and vi­car of St. John’s, Leeds, in 1860.
