Died: De­cem­ber 12, 1910, at Stud­ley, his home on Co­burg Road, Ha­li­fax, No­va Sco­tia, Ca­na­da.

Buried: Camp Hill Ce­me­te­ry, Ha­li­fax, No­va Sco­tia, Ca­na­da.

Biography

Murray at­tend­ed the Free Col­lege in Ha­li­fax, No­va Sco­tia, and was or­dained a Pres­by­te­ri­an min­is­ter.

He ed­it­ed the Pres­by­te­ri­an Wit­ness for ov­er 50 years, and wrote a num­ber of hymns, some of which ap­peared ano­ny­mous­ly in that pe­ri­od­i­cal.
