Jeremiah was the son of Milton Ohl and Mary Elizabeth Schick, and husband of Olivia E. Ohl.
He was the pastor of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown, Pennsylvania, from at least 1884 until 1893, when he transferred to a distant congregation.
