Buried: Orig­in­al­ly in Con­gre­ga dell’Im­ma­co­la­ta Con­ce­zi­one, Na­ples, It­aly; his re­mains were lat­er moved to Chi­esa San­ta Ma­ria Don­nal­bi­na in Na­ples.

Biography

Paisiello com­posed re­li­gious mu­sic and 93 op­eras, as well as the na­tion­al an­them for the King­dom of the Two Si­ci­lies (Bour­bon) be­fore go­ing ov­er to Na­po­le­on.
