Died: June 11, 1931, Zanzibar.
Educated at the University of Edinburgh (MB & CM, 1884), Palmer was ordained a deacon in 1889, and priest in 1890.
He served as assistant curate at St. Saviour’s, Leeds (1889–93); missionary in Zanzibar (1893–1902); assistant curate at St. John’s, Clevedon, Somerset (1902–04); vicar of Kirton-in-Holland, Lincolnshire (1904–16); rural dean of Holland W. (1910–16); canon of Zanzibar (1928); and chaplain to the Bishop of Zanzibar (1926).
