Born: May 26, 1812, Pi­las­bo farm, Sol­ber­ga par­ish, Små­land (now in Näss­jö, Jön­kö­ping), Swe­den.

Biography

A teach­er at Beth­el Se­mi­na­ry in Stock­holm, Palm­qvist emi­grat­ed to Am­eri­ca in 1851.

The fol­low­ing year he be­came a Bap­tist and found­ed a Bap­tist church in Rock Island, Il­li­nois.
