Biography

Parker emi­grat­ed to Am­eri­ca around 1847, at age 22.

He be­came a Me­tho­dist min­is­ter, served church­es in New York and Ver­mont, and was an ar­my chap­lain dur­ing the Am­eri­can ci­vil war.
