Biography

Phillips was for ma­ny years an ac­tive work­er in Sun­day schools in New York Ci­ty.

She con­trib­ut­ed five hymns to Fa­mi­ly and So­cial Me­lo­dies, by W. C. Hoyt (New York: Carl­ton & Phil­lips, 1853), and wrote for va­ri­ous ma­ga­zines.
