Biography

Teodorico was the son of Lu­igi Pie­tro­co­la-Ros­set­ti and Cle­ofe Mar­ch­es­ani, hus­band of Isa­bel­la Steele Cole, ne­phew of Ita­lo-Eng­lish pre-Ra­pha­el­ite po­et and paint­er Dan­te Pe­tro­co­la Ros­set­ti, and a friend of Lew­is Car­roll, for whom he trans­lat­ed Ali­ce in Won­der­land in­to Ita­li­an.
