Died: Oc­to­ber 11, 1869, Bridge of Allan, Scotland.

Biography

A mer­chant’s son, Ror­is­on at­tend­ed Glas­gow Uni­ver­si­ty.

He lat­er left the Unit­ed Pres­by­te­ri­an Church for the Scot­tish Epis­co­pal Church, and af­ter stu­dy­ing for the min­is­try un­der Bi­shops Ter­rot and Rus­sell, was or­dained by the lat­ter in 1843.

He was for some time cur­ate of St. James’, Leith; the Epis­co­pal Church, Hel­ens­burgh; and in­cum­bent of St. Pe­ter’s Epis­co­pal Church, Pe­ter­head.
