Biography

Rossini was one of the most prom­in­ent mu­si­cians of the 19th Cen­tu­ry, and is re­mem­bered es­pe­cial­ly for his op­er­as.

One of his best works was Gil­laume Tell (Will­iam Tell), source of the fa­mous Will­iam Tell Ov­er­ture. This music was used as the theme song for the Lone Ranger television series.
