Biography

Maud was the daugh­ter of Frank Sew­all and niece of Will­iam Gil­christ.

She trained in vio­lin, and was self taught in or­gan and the­ory.

Beginning in 1896, she was an or­gan­ist in Wash­ing­ton, DC, and gave ma­ny lec­ture-re­cit­als.
