Biography

Hazel was the wife of James Cle­ment Shade (mar­ried 1951).

She was a song ev­an­gel­ist with the Na­za­rene Church. She sang in 35 dif­fer­ent states and 2 coun­tries, and was in­duct­ed in­to the Mont­gom­ery Coun­ty Gos­pel Mu­sic Hall of Fame.

She al­so taught pi­ano for ma­ny years, had her own tax and ac­count­ing bu­si­ness, and was a Real­tor and apart­ment man­ag­er.
