Biography

Kathleen was the wife of Ja­mie Ed­ward Tho­mer­son (mar­ried June 1, 1957).

She grew up in Mis­sis­sip­pi, Ca­li­for­nia, and Tex­as.

She stu­died mu­sic at the Uni­ver­si­ties of Co­lo­ra­do and Tex­as; the Flem­ish Roy­al Con­ser­va­to­ry in An­twerp, Bel­gium; and pri­vate­ly in Pa­ris, France.

Before re­tir­ing, she lived in Col­lins­ville, Il­li­nois, when her hus­band was a bi­o­lo­gy pro­fess­or at Sou­thern Il­li­nois Uni­ver­si­ty at Ed­wards­ville.

As of 2012, she was or­gan­ist and mu­sic di­rect­or at Mt. Ol­ive Lu­ther­an Church in Aus­tin, Texas.
